Before arriving, I wasn’t expecting a large variety of gluten-free options. I was pleasantly surprised, however, to find that I could order a salad, rice or hummus bowl with a large amount of GF toppings and sauces, which include items like purple cabbage, sumac onions, garlic sauce, tahini, and harissa.

I ordered the beef shawarma salad bowl with tossed salad, red cabbage, chicken and falafel. My friend got the veggie feast which is a delicious choice for vegans. We also had the chance to try the Naf Naf fries and lentil soup, which were lovely on a cold day and incredibly tasty. You have the options to choose between three different sauces; tahini, hot sauce, and garlic. If you’re a big fan of spiciness like me then definitely order the hot sauce! Overall, I was very impressed by the quantity and quality of food for the price.

Thanks to various locations throughout downtown, you can find a healthy meal easily. I highly recommend Naf Naf Grill for your next Mediterranean fix!
