Apres Food Co. is a new cafe in Farringdon, serving healthy, hearty, comfort food – everything in the cafe is gluten-free (a NOBREAD follower’s dream) and free from refined sugar…
The café is centred around the belief of making friends with food. The founders, Catherine (a qualified nutrition therapist) and Danny, believe in the importance of the nutrients you are eating, not about counting calories, and that taste doesn’t need to be compromised when making healthy food.
We shared the pancakes served with bacon and maple syrup. These were American style – light and soft, you would have never known they were gluten-free! The bacon was both crispy & chewy and covered in maple syrup – a delicious treat.
We also shared the Apres Cooked Breakfast, which contained slow roasted tomatoes (these were my favourite, sweet and caramelised), mushrooms, smoked streaky bacon, pork sausage, Apres Hash, Apres baked beans, a poached egg and a slice of toast, all made-in house. This breakfast had it all and we will definitely be back to have it again.
A selection of delectable sweets are on display and hard to resist – a mix of cakes, cookies, brownie and slices, all able to be indulged! Apres Food is A NOBREAD must-visit.
