There are two ways to make an acaì bowl categorized as hard and easy.
The hard way isn’t really as difficult as it is labor intensive. You take yogurt, acaì product (can be acaì juice or a smoothie pack), whisk it together, pour into an ice cream maker, chill overnight, churn, and then serve. But who wants to wait that long for for something so delicious? Nobody. And also, no one really has time for that.
So, if you’re a little more impatient or don’t own an ice cream maker, the second method is for you.
What You Will Need:
2 Acaì smoothie packs (found at Whole Foods)
1 Cup of frozen blueberries
1 Cup almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
Toppings of your choice
See, so simple!
Just blend your ingredients until you are happy with the consistency. You might want to pulse your blender on high to really break up the chunks of frozen fruit to ensure that everything gets blended properly. Then, pour the mixture into a fancy bowl, finish off with your fave toppings and siiiigh with happiness because you’ve just made the perfect breakfast smoothie dish.
-Run the acaì packs under warm water for five seconds and then break into chunks before dumping them into the blender. If you don’t, you could end up with a ruined new shirt like me!
-Add more “frozen goodness” than liquid in order to get a firmer consistency.
