Adalya is truly a hidden gem. The restaurant is small and intimate, and the perfect spot for your next dinner with a close group of friends or with your next date. To top it off, the food is delicious and the wine list is pretty amazing! I recently discovered the restaurant and after going this week for dinner, I will ABSOLUTELY be back soon…
To start, my friend and I ordered several appetizers from the list of small plates. We started with the celery filled with hummus and black fig topped with sea salt; it was delicious and the perfect simple dish to kick off our meal! Following the celery we ordered the cast iron shakshouka (no bread of course) since we were huge fans of eggs, as well as the Baby Artichokes Salad with pistachio, boucheron cheese and arugula. Both were awesome, and I highly recommend each dish! Our favorite dish was the Octopus with black garbanzos, English peas and a manzanilla reduction. The dish was the most popular appetizer at Adalya; the octopus was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, and my friend who wasn’t the biggest fan of octopus, tried it and loved it too! For our main course, we split the Hanger Steak (no panzanella)… it was unbelievable!
I highly recommend Adalya. The ambiance is perfect and the food is even better. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, and they are very helpful in selecting what NOBREAD dishes and drinks to order. Chef Derek takes pride in his food and works hard to ensure you and his diners have a wonderful dining experience! We will see you again soon, Adalya!
