So here's what we think...

The ideal client lunch: midtown, healthy, not too loud, not too old, and friendly service. Thank you EMM Group for satisfying all of these requirements and bringing Meatpacking to Midtown with Lexington Brass. To start, Lexington Brass has quite possibly the best and friendliest staff I’ve experienced in NYC, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Servers are knowledgeable about nobread entrees and equipped with recommendations…

To start, the bread is gluten free (however not dairy free), and at brunch they are known for their pumpkin spice GLUTEN-FREE waffles and gluten free pancakes. Not only is Lexington Brass great for brunch and lunch, but the dinner menu is a must-try! I’ve been to the restaurant several times now for post-work happy hour and dinner, and I’ve never met a Lexington Brass meal I didn’t enjoy. I recommend the burger nobread, grilled octopus, organic chicken salad served with kale, quinoa, dried cranberries and avocado, seared tuna, and herb roasted branzino. As amazing as these entrees are, nothing beats their kale salad with pinenuts and roasted pepper vinaigrette; it is one of the best kale salads in New York City. I have been to the restaurant for brunch, lunch, and dinner, and can’t imagine a trip to the Brass without ordering their sides, specifically their truffle fries. These truffle fries are AMAZING and top 5 in NYC. The fries are served at ALL EMM Group restaurants and a MUST-ORDER. However, they are not fried in a dedicated gluten free fryer so if you are sensitive I would sit these out. Side orders at Lex Brass are also some of the best in the city and there have been several occasions where I have gone to the restaurant just for their sides (sautéed spinach, roasted carrots, roasted cauliflower). In season, the tri-color cauliflower dish and brussel sprouts are exceptional.

I recommend Lexington Brass for all occasions: brunch, lunch, dinner, and don’t forget about happy hour! 5 star management, waitstaff, FOOD, and vibe; Lex Brass does it right and sets the bar high for all midtown restaurants!
