So here's what we think...

Ngam is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the city. The menu is a mix of inventive and classic Thai dishes, and everything is delicious.  The food is consistently amazing and its high energy atmosphere definitely adds to the experience. Ngam is the perfect restaurant to go to for some nobread approved Thai food and drinks before a night out with friends…

To start, I recommend the “somtum” authentic clay mortar papaya salad. It is made with shredded green papaya, apple and pear, and dressed with a thai chili lime & tamarind dressing. It is light, fresh, and SO delicious. For your entree, I highly recommend the old school pad thai, not only is it gluten free but it is also my favorite pad thai in the city. The pad thai comes with the perfect amount of sauce, it is well seasoned and not greasy like most pad thai dishes I’ve had in the past. Other NOBREAD approved orders you have to try include the zucchini pad thai and the green curry fried rice. What impressed me about Ngam, even more than the food, is how knowledgeable the servers are about the ingredients used in the dishes. The servers are full of nobread knowledge and pointed out which dishes I should stay away from. It’s so nice when I can trust that I am actually able to eat everything I am served.

Ngam is the perfect restaurant for a date night or for a girls night out. Great modern Thai food made from high quality ingredients; Ngam is my go-to Thai restaurant in NYC. In fact, Ngam is also one of my favorite restaurants for takeout and delivery. I recommend eating at the restaurant; the high energy atmosphere of Ngam is not to be missed and it will make your meal that much more amazing.
