RECIPE: Mojitos

My favorite ways to stay warm in the winter? Hot yoga, restaurants with fireplaces, and awesome drinks! If you’re dreaming of summer, make your fantasy feel more real with a batch of mojitos! Fresh mint, tangy lime, and a glug of rum will warm you up from the inside.



3/4 cup lime juice

3/4 cup simple syrup

1 1/2 cups rum

1 liter club soda


Raw sugar


1. To make the simple syrup, heat 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a pan until the sugar is dissolved. You will have enough for two batches.

2. Mix the lime juice, rum, and simple syrup in a pitcher. Gently add club soda and fresh mint sprigs.

3. In each glass, put ice, raw sugar, wedge of lime and mint. Muddle to crush up mint and lime. Fill glass with drink mixture. Enjoy!
