The menu is friendly for meat lovers and vegetarians alike, and takes special caution with allergies. An allergy guide is available, marking gluten, dairy, soy and eggs. The good news is the chicken and sauces are all gluten-free!
There are so many great options to chose from, including gluten-free wings! We started with the wings in medium sauce, but if you can handle heat go for the hot. The quinoa salad with roasted squash, tomatoes, avocado and feta is a delightful palette cleanser after the spicy and savory wings. Next we had the half Peri-Peri chicken marinated in lemon and herbs, flame-grilled and bursting with flavor. Plenty of sides are gluten-free, but we opted to try the Portuguese rice which was fluffy, nutty and a perfect vessel to sop up the extra sauce.
Nando’s is great for a grab-and-go, workday escape, or meal before a game, and even has a patio for those dreaming of summer. They serve Portuguese beer and wine and a very refreshing blood orange and mango lemonade. They play cool tunes and even bottle their sauces to-go.
