Tucked away in the trendy and popular Los Angeles neighborhood of Santa Monica, Areal Restaurant on Main Street serves delicious entrees in one of the best locations. Areal, which means ‘space,’ emphasizes the importance of good food and drink and even better company, and its ambiance reflects Los Angeles’ relaxing lifestyle…
Areal’s menu is all about fresh, locally grown, sustainable and organic foods. Serving brunch, lunch, happy hour and dinner, Areal is all encompassing, and this can be seen through their ability and willingness to cater to diners with dietary restrictions. Areal includes several vegan and gluten-free choices on their menus, and they are accommodating to all customers. For brunch, the quinoa bowl with micro greens and farm-fresh eggs is my favorite; the dish is filling and flavorful. For a healthy AND hearty option, the raw kale salad with fennel, radish, ricotta salata, croutons and lemon-chile vinaigrette is light and tangy… be sure to ask for your salad with no croutons! Areal has a killer veggie burger, and the burger is gluten free without the brioche bun. This burger will satisfy even the hungriest of customers and it is served with hummus, pickled cucumber, tomato and butter lettuce. If you’re on a budget be sure to check out the happy hour. Delicious small plates, like the bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese, are a NOBREAD favorite and very affordable!
Areal is a great spot to enjoy a good meal with friends. The coziness of the restaurant makes the Areal experience all the more enjoyable, and with good food, great service and awesome vibes, Areal is NOBREAD approved.
