So here's what we think...

Two words: guacamole and margaritas. Need I say more? Border Grill is one of my favorite, casual dinner spots on the Third Street Promenade. With tons of NOBREAD options and a gluten-free labeled menu, you really cant go wrong if you are in the mood for an easy, Mexican feast. I especially enjoy Border’s gourmet flare on classic Mexican dishes and trendy ambiance that gives a new meaning to traditional Mexican dining. ..

First, as a true Mexican food fanatic, nothing is more frustrating than finding out that I cannot eat delish guacamole and salsa because the chips are fried in a contaminated fryer.  No fear at Border Grill! BG is committed to making all of your dipping wishes come true. Additionally, the restaurant offers a huge variety of gluten free meal options from classics like enchiladas with corn tortillas to amazing grilled fish tacos. My personal favorite and go-to order is the wild mushroom quesadilla. But let’s not forget about the most important menu at the restaurant: the cocktail menu! BG serves a cucumber jalepano margarita that is so good, you cannot help but have a second round.

BG is a perfect spot for an easy weeknight dinner, drinks with friends at the bar, or a large group party. The friendly and helpful service and full NOBREAD-friendly menu will not disappoint and makes ordering safely extremely easy. If you are craving some authentic, south of the border grub you have found your spot!
