So here's what we think...

I must have been a very good girl in order to deserve such a delicious lunch! At Good Girl Dinette, Vietnamese food meets a diner setting! It’s the cutest Asian restaurant I’ve ever seen. Not only is it perfect for lunch with the girls (complete with an adorable setting for all your Snaps and Instagrams), it also has a ton of gluten free options…

Good Girl Dinette exudes awesome vibes from the second you walk in. I was instantly a fan of the cool orange accents, the exposed brick wall and cute paper birds hanging from the ceiling. My table and I started off our lunch with some Vietnamese coffees – so strong and flavorful! We ordered a bunch of delicious things to share in order to get the best sampling of gluten free food the restaurant had to offer. The only things we had to avoid on the menu were pretty much the banh mi sandwiches, the pot pies and a couple of sauces – almost everything else was gluten free. Chili oil can always be substituted for any sauce on a dish. They also keep everything separate in the kitchen to avoid cross contamination. We first tried the Chicken Pho – this dish was SO flavorful and comforting– I want to eat it every rainy day for the rest of my life. It really warms you from the inside like a nice soupy hug. We also tried the Caramelized Ginger Chicken Wings – they had amazing flavor and were the tastiest wings I had ever eaten. YUM. One of my favorite dishes at Good Girl was the Blistered Corn. I had never had corn cooked this way and with such a unique flavor, and I was overwhelmed! You must hurry in to get this menu item before the end of summer!! I think my favorite dish overall (although it’s so hard to choose) was the Black Pepper Pork Confit with an Egg. This dish was served with rice and when I mixed the pork with the egg on top of the rice my tastebuds did a little happy dance. It was unlike any other Vietnamese food I had eaten and I would it eat it for brunch all the time if I could. Speaking of brunch, I need to come back to try some of their gluten free brunch items! Bacon and eggs, steak and eggs, breakfast bowls— so many options that sound delicious!

Whether you’re a good girl, a good boy or even if you’re not good at all, hit up Good Girl Dinette. You won’t be disappointed.
