Little Next Door is a Brasserie & Winebar located on 3rd street in West Hollywood. With an awesome outdoor patio and cuisine to match, Little Next Door is a popular destination for the LA crowd. The cuisine is European, and it’s interesting, because on both occasions that I went to the restaurant, the clientele was very European, too! I’d say that’s a good sign!…
I love brunch, so I was thrilled to see brunch entrees offered at lunchtime. The Spanish frittata and Parisian omelette are popular orders and both are served with potato gratin, which is gluten free as well! There is no gluten free bread at the restaurant, so sandwiches and tarts are a no-go but there are plenty of salads and entrees that are NOBREAD approved! My favorite salad is the tuna nicoise with potatoes, green beans, and tomatoes, and I highly recommend supplementing your meal with a gluten free side. The roasted baby artichokes with tomato confit, garlic, and balsamic vinegar are pretty awesome, and the fries are delicious, too, but subject to cross contamination in the fryer. If you are in the mood for something a bit more filling, the daurade fillet and roasted salmon are gluten free and sound amazing.
Complete your meal with any of Little Next Door’s gluten free macarons! Macarons are the ultimate European/French dessert so indulge and try one! Little Next Door is the perfect restaurant to grab a meal with friends while basking in Cali’s warm weather, or if you dine solo (like myself), it’s a great spot to set up shop and work for the day. Hint: free WiFi!!
