Another day, another lunch at another café. There are SO many adorable cafes in Los Angeles, and with each one trying to one up the next in terms variety and vibe, it can be hard to have a favorite! Stir Market, located in Fairfax is definitely in the running to be one of my favorites. The food is healthy and delicious, the space is cool, there is an adorable outdoor patio, and Stir Market actually is a market! Enjoy your meal and then pick up your favorite baked goods and products to go… a perfect combo!…
For lunch, if you are in the mood for a salad, the poached salmon salad is light, yet filling, and the house arugula salad is another popular nobread approved item. The quinoa bowl with chickpea, shredded carrots, zucchini, pepitas, dried apricots, and tahini dill yogurt is gluten free and I’ve heard great things! My favorite part of the menu is the market side section. The roasted purple and white cauliflower, Brussels sprouts with bacon, roasted broccolini, and kale salad with quinoa are gluten free, and you can order two sides for $8.95 and 3 sides for $12.95. The market plate allows you to choose whatever you are in the mood for, and I love this kind of optionality. If you’re in the mood for a sandwich, you’re in luck! Stir Market has gluten free bread! This makes several of the sandwiches fair game, and you can have avocado toast on GF bread for breakfast!
Casual, cute, and nobread friendly, it’s no wonder why Stir Market is so popular. It’s also the perfect café to post up and work for the day… if only they had WiFi!!
