So here's what we think...

Goodbye Terrine, HELLO The Ponte! With the unbelievable Chef Scott Conant running the show, this rebrand was destined for success. I was a HUGE fan of Terrine when it was open. The food was delicious and the backyard patio was one of the best in Los Angeles, so I’ve been so excited to go to The Ponte since it opened. Well I’m happy to report the backyard patio is just as beautiful as I recall, and the food was amazing! A total rebranding success! …

Typically when I review restaurants I start with the appetizers and get you all excited for the main course… and whatever gluten-free dessert I had! But I have to start with my last course at The Ponte. Chef Conant offers a gluten-free version of his famous Pasta Al Pomodoro!! The gluten-free pasta used was so delicious, my gluten-eating friend said she would have had NO idea she was eating gluten-free! It was dressed with just the right amount sauce and perfectly finished with basil. This pasta was a total dream!! It’s not often us gluten-free can indulge in fantastic pasta, so I will be returning to The Ponte every time I am craving Italian. Okay, now back to the start. My friend and I first ordered the Bibb Lettuce Salad with a side of Avocado (the crispy onions on this salad were SO good). We also ordered the Egg White Frittata and Eggs Benedict without the bread. I’m happy to report the Eggs Benedict was great even without the bread! It was served on top of the most tender prosciutto; I absolutely loved it!

Everything about my meal at The Ponte was exceptional. From the ambiance to the food to the service my experience was a total home run. If you haven’t been to The Ponte yet, you must go! I mean, you should have already left after reading my first sentence about the pasta!
