Buttercream frosting has been my go-to for years. Why? Because its super simple, super yummy and basically goes well with any type of baked good. I would drink buttercream frosting if I could and when I was younger…I did.
What You Will Need:
Large Bowl or Mixer Device
3 cups confectioners’ sugar (sifted)
1 cup butter
¼ teaspoon table salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
~3 tablespoons milk or heavy cream (I used milk)
What You Will Do:
1) Melt butter (or you can beat the butter with the paddle attachment of a mixer on medium speed for a few minutes to soften—I didn’t have a mixer with me, so I melted the butter).
2) Mix ingredients into large mixing bowl.
3) Beat (by hand or with mixer) mixture until thoroughly combined or until your liking.
See? SO easy, SO simple, and SO (relatively) cheap!
Frost your favorite cake with it or drizzle the frosting over some berries and enjoy!!
