So here's what we think...

As soon as you walk into 4505 Burgers & BBQ, you feel like you’re walking into an outdoor, Southern smokehouse. I was greeted right away by the most friendly staff and given a menu. Since it was such a nice day I thought I’d sit outside in the section that wasn’t covered…

I decided to start out with a fresh iced tea and an Organic Green Salad, which I was told has some of it’s ingredients sourced from the local farmer’s market. The salad was so amazing I could’ve eaten another one. Important note: you can add any of the meats to your salad.

From there, I got the three meat platter which comes with two sides. Of course, I had to have an additional side because I wanted to try it all. Also, luckily for me, all of the side options are gluten-free! To make sure your meal is gluten-free, you can skip the bread roll that it comes with. I ordered the french fries which are twice fried in beef tallow, so that they are extra crispy. I also ordered the baked beans and cole slaw which were both delicious.

For the meats, I had the chicken, brisket and pulled pork. All three were smoked and either humanely raised, grass-fed or from family-owned farms. All the meats were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of smoke and fat. My favorite part of the whole experience was that all of their sauces, which were amazing, were gluten-free, too! They also helped me pair each of the meats with the sauce that went best.

In summary: fantastic staff, healthy salads and deliciously gluten-free sides and meats – just make sure to double check when you order to avoid cross contamination.
