I found Palm Spring’s go-to restaurant! Vibrant, casual, and yummy, Lulu California Bistro is a definite must-try on your next trip to Palm Springs. The restaurant was packed from the start to finish of my meal with people of all ages. Whether you are looking for a place to host your next group brunch, family get together, or date, Lulu’s is great for all! Best of all, they note gluten-free options on their menu!…
My friend and I went to Lulu for brunch and we were so torn between ordering breakfast and lunch! It had been a long day, so we opted for healthy lunch options. I ordered the Mixed Greens Salad and added Grilled Salmon to it and my friend ordered the Bay Shrimp Salad with Avocado. Both were healthy and light. I highly recommend ordering the ceviche. The fish itself is gluten-free, but the corn chips are cooked in a shared fryer and subject to cross contamination, so if you are sensitive I would avoid the chips. The ceviche was SO flavorful; it’s no wonder why it is one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes! Lulu’s also served gluten-free pizza as well as hearty, gluten-free omelettes, which I will have to try next time!
For dessert you have to order the Flourless Chocolate Cake! It’s the melt in your mouth kind of good, and I don’t just say that because I am a chocoholic. Oh, and if you Instagram stalked the restaurant and were wondering why so many people were enjoying mountain high swirls of cotton candy, it’s because Lulu serves cotton candy for dessert, and it’s NOBREAD-approved, too!
