Healthy, mindful, and peaceful are three words that sum up the new NoMad counter-serve restaurant, Inday. The restaurant serves 100% gluten-free Indian cuisine; their Indian Bowl Dishes will add some spice to your life while keeping you satisfied and stuffed. With its open, relaxing ambiance, and the kindest owners and staff you will ever meet, Inday will have you feeling welcomed from the moment you walk in. From the hand-stained tables to the floor and ceiling windows, the restaurant’s Indian-inspired atmosphere and cuisine completely stole my heart.
Everything on the menu is gluten-free and there are several vegan options, so any cross contamination worries you have can be left at the door. Here is how the restaurant works: first pick a base for your bowl. Options range from their “Cool Dishes,” which include a shaved vegetable slaw, to their “Warm Dishes,” which include a jasmine and wild rice base. Whatever your mood, Inday has you covered. Next, add additions to your bowl such as chicken or tofu, as well as microgreens, toasted masala sunflower seeds, and many, many more! Lastly, finish your meal with a specially made Inday Cold Brew by Jack’s Stir Brew for a refreshingly delicious touch.
With organic meats, rice, and cooking oil, Inday is changing the standard of “fast food” and setting the standards high. I cannot wait to go back to this new hotspot and try out more of their endless combinations. Spoiler alert…the Not Rice + Steak will have you wanting to lick the bowl clean!
