Colorful, casual, and bright; LYFE Kitchen exudes vibes of health, wellness and positivity. What’s even more refreshing about the restaurant is how dedicated they are to catering to diners with all sorts of dietary restrictions. When you enter you are given a choice of 3 menus; vegan/vegetarian, gluten-free, and an “I eat everything” option. Additionally, each menu item is accompanied by its nutritional facts, including the calories and sodium level. With every dish at 600 calories or less, you can be sure that no excess oils or unnecessary ingredients are added to your meal, too, making LYFE Kitchen the perfect healthy hotspot…
The gluten free menu at LYFE Kitchen has an array of options, ranging from side orders and salads to GF flatbreads and burgers. My favorite salad is the Farmer’s Market Salad with salmon. The dish is unique and contains goat cheese, blackberries, spiced pecans and arugula. Another favorite dish of mine is the mahi fish tacos on warm corn tortillas. It is hard to believe that this hearty portion is only 482 calories! My favorite menu option, however, is the baked sweet potato fries. Perfectly seasoned and crisp, I would go back to LYFE for these alone! The GF menu also features desserts, drinks and smoothies and I highly recommend the ginger mint chia “Lyfe Water;” it is only $1.50 (which is crazy cheap by SF, LA and NYC standards) and only 56 calories.
LYFE Kitchen is spreading like wildfire across the US, and it’s not surprising that the restaurant is expanding so quickly. LYFE is healthy and affordable, and definitely worth a visit!
