I love this trend ❤️ Growing up I never wanted a nickname, but each chapter of my life as an adult I’ve had a different name that 100% of people call me.

And if you are wondering about “Skippy”… classic Wall Street. Someone decided one day to call me Skippy and it stuck. Everywhere I went and everyone I saw… my name was Skippy 🤣🤣

Now everywhere I go people call me NOBREAD… and I don’t mind it at all!!

NOBREAD Book Club Part 2! 📕🤓📚
I made a goal this year to get back into two of my biggest passions. Reading and writing. Although it’s still new, writing on my substack has truly become my biggest joy, and filling my spare time with reading instead of scrolling has transformed my mental health. My goal was to read one book a month. Well it’s May 1st and I’m 10 books deep into the year! Here’s what I’ve been getting into recently...

1. The Tell - I’ve been a huge fan of @amygriffin and her work as a female icon in VC. But after reading The Tell, I have the utmost respect for not just her work. For her story and willingness to share it. The Tell is deep, profound, and a story of how telling your truth will deepen all relationships and aspects of your life.
2. The Next Conversation- It’s no wonder why @jefferson_fisher communication tips made him a viral sensation. His book is a JOY to read, will help ANYONE with their communication faults, and he really is as authentic as he comes across.
3. How to Giggle- I truly believe @paige_desorbo and @hannahberner are the medias next biggest sensation, and there global takeover is just beginning. We all need to “giggle” through life’s moments, and this book was a fun weekend read that will help you do that.
4. Rocket Fuel- A business book that came highly recommended. Every visionary has an integrator. And this is especially pertinent for entrepreneurs like myself. Even though we want to do it all... we can’t! building a team is an essential part of entrepreneurship.
5. The Women- My first Kristin Hanna! I was hesitant to dive into historical fiction but I could NOT put this book down. It’s heavy, but you’ll laugh, cry, love... everything. I am obsessed with her writing style and can’t wait to read more!
6. The Five-Star Weekend- Also my first Elin Hilderbrand! The PERFECT vacation or beach read. I was IN IT from start to finish. Also- this may be polarizing- but I liked it way more than the wedding People.

Almost two years into doing weights! I remember all of the trips I used to take where I felt like I had to scramble to “get in shape” for the trip. It always makes me feel sad for the younger me. Now, there’s no prep, no scrambling. Just feeling good and CONFIDENT because I’ve found a lifestyle that’s made me truly STRONG in every aspect of my life. Weights & protein… two things too many people fear!! I hope this inspires anyone who once had the same fears to make a change 🙏🏻❤️
