So here's what we think...

Top Round Roast Beef is a fast casual restaurant serving, you guessed it, roast beef. The owners pride themselves on serving whole cut, quality meat but in a fast and affordable manner. Although you may not believe me, Top Round serves more than just beef! Chicken sandwiches and hotdogs are on the menu, and there are even a few vegetarian items! For the gluten free crowd, you’ll have to avoid anything with beef or chicken, and anything with fried jalapenos or onion strings. But don’t worry, even though you can’t eat the roast beef it is still worth going to this roast beef shop!! The Original and Dirty Dog hotdogs are gluten free when you ask for a gluten free bun, and all of the items on the vegetarian menu are gluten free, too, as long as you ask for that GF bun! Best of all, Top Round is known for their fries and custards– both of which are GF! On my last stop at Top Round, I opted for the curly fries. The fries are inexpensive and salty– just how I like them! For the custard fans out there, these custards are calling your name. You can create your own custard in the form of a sundae with your ingredients on top, or ask for it ‘concrete’ with everything mixed in. If you’d rather not create your own, choose from any of the custards on the menu… just make sure to avoid custards that have Oreo’s, graham crackers, brownie bites, or streusel.

Fast, cheap, and tasty, Top Round Roast Beef is the perfect fast food spot to hit as you head away from West Hollywood and West towards the beach. Yes it’s a bit tougher being gluten free here, but if you can handle cross contamination, the fries are awesome and I’m hearing the custards are pretty amazing, too.
