Postpartum meals I’m eating on repeat!!! 🥩🍳🍠🥑 Food is healing, especially so in postpartum life, and im proud to say while so much still feels out of whack, my digestion and gut health have remained strong. The meals honestly look a lot like my pregnant and pre-pregnant meals, with tweaks here and there.

I’m all in on high quality animal protein, eating steak, ground beef, chuck roast, short rib etc as often as I can. I’d say the biggest changes are— I wake up starving so my breakfast is way bigger than pre-pregnant me, protein is 80-90% of my meal, i’m eating more carbs than ever, and I avoid cold and raw when I can, ie no salads and I still haven’t had any sushi!! Oh and not pictured are snacks! Nuts, fruit, and chocolate seem to be my go-to these days.

Home cooked meals are everything, but with limited time I’ve relied a lot of others (hi mom), and have been using meal delivery services (ready to eat meals or ingredients to save me a trip to the store). And when I can cook, I make A LOT so we can have leftovers for days! Let me know your fave postpartum meals and any questions you have! happy eating! xx #nobread #glutenfree
Six weeks of the greatest love 🩵🩵 I’ve be Six weeks of the greatest love 🩵🩵

I’ve been finding it so hard to show up on social media since having Bo. My page has always reflected the chapter of life I’m in… and right now, I’m in the most beautiful, all-consuming one. I love what I do and I love sharing my life—but I’ve also had this strong pull to stay in my little bubble and soak it in quietly! Figuring out how to hold and balance both 🤍

Baby Bo is 11 pounds today. So alert and silly, knows that if he cries loud enough mom and dad will come hold him as long as he wants, and feeds so much he definitely has his dad’s metabolism 😂 every day is a new adventure and I’m loving every moment.
In honor of Women’s Month… this one feels extr In honor of Women’s Month… this one feels extra special.

At 8 weeks pregnant, in the thick of my nausea, I made the decision to stay STRONG during my pregnancy. Showing up was tough, especially in those first trimester weeks, but from 8 weeks to 40 weeks pregnant, my body kept showing up.

Lifting. Moving. Growing a whole human. My body transformed. I’ve never felt stronger or more in awe of what the female body can do.

Huge shoutout to my husband for championing me — supporting me physically, emotionally, and always reminding me I was stronger than I thought. We modified based on my energy and where I was at in the pregnancy— some workouts were 20 minutes, others were an hour.

And the best finish line of all… getting to hold our baby boy. 🤍 Holding Bo is the best reminder of what all this strength is for.

Women are incredible.
SO i was posting this... and then my water broke! SO i was posting this... and then my water broke! so here is a little flashback to the weekend before Bo joined us.

Patiently... or anxiously.... awaiting labor! it’s time to get this baby out! here’s what a little morning in my life looks like these days. Hearty meals, staying active and loose, finishing whatever baby projects need to be done, and soaking up the last moments just the two of us. Time is going slowly, but also so fast? see you on the other side! @tryarmra #ARMRApartner

A C Section wasn’t the plan. Especially after 27 A C Section wasn’t the plan. Especially after 27 hours of labor. I’ll share my full birth story in time, but I’m finally in a headspace where I can look at these pictures and reminisce of my labor with happiness instead of sadness that it didn’t go my way.

I’m a planner. Anyone who knows me will tell you that. I spent weeks on my birth plan. It was perfect. I read about every which way you could go into labor EXCEPT an induction and C section … because that wasn’t my plan. But when you make plans, God laughs. And he must have been in hysterics while I clenched my birth plan as they rolled me into the surgery room. I beggeddd the nurses as they rolled me, “please just give me like two things off of this list!!!” And they did.

The second I saw Bo raised over the curtain and put into my arms, everything I was feeling — tired, stressed, sad— went away. The procedure itself was seamless. I kept giggling to Ben about “the massage” I was having. Recovery has been hard I won’t sugarcoat it- putting my pride aside and having to ask for lots of help. Not being able to care for Bo the way I wish I could (thank you Ben for being the most incredible dad). The physical pain while my hormones plummet. And having to keep a child alive after having a major operation is SOMETHING.

Anyway. I’d do it 100 more times because Bo has forever changed us in every way. He’s the sweetest angel and seeing our love manifest into this little soul is a dream come true. More to come 🩵
