Although I don’t eat meat, one of my favorite parts about steakhouses is the flexibility of the menu, which is great when dining gluten-free! The highlight of my meal at BLT Prime was the poke, which is offered on the daily blackboard in three unique dishes including Octopus poke with pappadew aioli, roma tomatoes, spring onions, fried capers, crispy rice and paprika paper, Spicy char poke with mirin, lime juice, miso (GF!), jalapenos, candied ginger and tamago roe, and Ahi Tuna and Hamachi poke with yuzu agave vinaigrette, macadamia, cucumber, cilantro, pickled shallots and wakame salad. While the poke themselves are gluten-free, the spicy char poke must be ordered without the wonton! Also, if you like bacon, you MUST order the Grilled Double Cut Smoked Bacon with parsley and garlic!
