Buzz Bakery is a quaint neighborhood coffee shop located in between Crystal City and Alexandria. Given Buzz is a coffee shop, the coffee is phenomenal, with your traditional options as well as soy and almond milk alternatives for the dairy-free crowd. With so many gluten-free options to choose from, the decision for food is positively difficult. Between the vanilla fig scone,the peanut butter cookie, fudgy brownie, heart of darkness, or gluten-free cupcakes, Buzz is a haven for gluten-free foodies to enjoy their coffee with a treat! The vanilla fig scone melts in your mouth, with a granulated sugar topping giving it a wonderful crunch. The GF brownie with walnuts is rich with a great fudgy texture. My friend had a hard time believing that this brownie was gluten-free!
Buzz is a great place to catch up with friends, have a treat, and get work done at the same time! The gluten-free menu is ever changing with the seasons, and the baristas were quick to inform me that they were working on expanding their gluten-free options. I am looking forward to returning to see what other delicious treats they have added!
