Growing up, my family and I loved going so steakhouses. Wide range of menu options, huge portions, and waitstaff that make you feel like royalty… what’s not to love? Most importantly, after going gluten free I realized that steakhouses are the easiest kinds of restaurants to eat at! Meat, vegetable, and potato options fill menus, and the food is inherently gluten free!…
With countless steakhouses in both New York City and Los Angeles, it is hard to have a favorite. Well, Capital Grille, with locations all around the US has been my family’s go-to for ages. To start, I highly recommend ordering the shrimp cocktail or one of Capital’s salads. Appetizers, like entrees, are huge and definitely meant to be shared. For my main, I always order the seared citrus glazed salmon. This fish entrée is gluten free when you ask for no citrus glaze, and I ask for my salmon ‘simply grilled.’ Steaks at Capital are naturally gluten free, and the steaks with sauce can be gluten free by asking for no sauce. Whatever you do, round out your order with a couple of sides. Grilled asparagus, sautéed spinach, and roasted potatoes are the way to go!
Large portions and nobread-friendly cuisine that tastes as delicious as it looks, I recommend The Capital Grille for your next steakhouse dinner. Make sure you go hungry—you WILL overeat and you WILL leave absolutely full.
