Back when I worked in finance, I was a steakhouse regular. Interestingly enough, however, Del Frisco’s Grill – one of the most popular steakhouses for both those in Boston and from out-of-town – was the one steakhouse I never made it to! So as you can imagine, when I was given the opportunity to go for a gluten-free tasting at the restaurant, I jumped at the chance!…
Steakhouses are a favorite for those of us who are gluten-free, as a menu full of meat, seafood, vegetables, and potatoes is right up our alley. Del Frisco’s makes dining easy, and they note GF on their menu next to gluten-free options! So what can you have?? To start, the Truffle-Chive Deviled Eggs, Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Salad, Corn Chowder, Fire Roasted Artichoke, and Kale & Brussels Sprouts Salad (just to name a few) are all gluten-free! We went with the Fire Roasted Artichoke and Kale & Brussels Sprouts Salad… the kale salad was one of our favorite dishes of the night! For mains, it was tough to choose an entrée since they all looked so delicious! We ultimately went with the Bay of Fundy Salmon and Signature Filet Mignon Steak, accompanied by Shaved Brussels Sprouts, Roasted Asparagus, and Sea Salt & Parmesan Frites. The steak and salmon were delicious, and the perfect his and her dishes for our little date night.
When I worked in finance, several colleagues told me that Del Frisco’s had some of the best steak in Boston, and we agree! No wonder why the restaurant is such an attraction for tourists near and wide! With a bustling scene, great, NOBREAD-friendly food, and a accommodating staff, it’s not long before we’re back in again!
