Estancia 460 is the quintessential TriBeCa restaurant; its ambiance is cute and trendy, the menu is healthy yet simple and delicious, and the owners are wonderful. Kate Leonard and Stacey Sosa, owners of the restaurant, are not only incredibly friendly and hospitable, but they go out of their way to cater to customers with all dining preferences. No wonder why these girls have created such a successful restaurant with an incredibly loyal clientele!…
The food at Estancia is very nobread friendly to begin with, and items on the menu that are not naturally gluten free can be adjusted to suit your preferences. The waitstaff is fully aware of all allergens in each food item, too. A large binder kept in back detailing each entree lists all of the common allergens in the dish, and all employees are familiarized with this list. To start, I LOVE the salads and I highly recommend the calamari salad, shrimp salad, bresola salad with red peppers, and verano salad (grilled chicken, bacon, avocado, sweet corn). The omelettes are another excellent option for lunch or brunch. These omelettes are served with greens and you are given the option of many tasty fillers. If you go for dinner, or are in the mood for something heavier, gluten free pasta is on site and any of the pasta dishes can be made with the gluten free noodle. Also, the deshuesado (chicken breast marinated in parsley, garlic & olive oil with mesclun salad) with a side of roasted sweet potatoes is my go-to entree for dinner. Healthy and gluten free!
Whether you go to Estancia for lunch with a colleague or for dinner with a date, you won’t be let down by your Estancia experience. Oh, and don’t be surprised if you spot a celebrity or two. Estancia’s low-key and friendly ambiance attracts many of your A-List favorites!
