Macarons are the quintessential treat for gluten free eaters as they tend to be safe to eat, as long as they are not flavored with anything containing gluten. Macaron Parlour manages to make macarons exciting, and you will look forward to tasting the flavors, rather than just taking pictures of them. One of our favorite, unique flavors is the candied bacon with maple cream cheese. It has an actual piece of bacon in the middle, giving it the perfect hint of salty and savory to go with the sweet maple cream cheese. If you’ve gotten bored with the classic flavors, we highly recommend giving it a try! Other favorite flavors include pistachio, pumpkin, red velvet, raspberry chocolate, and s’mores.
With two permanent locations, one uptown and one downtown, and with a spot at many food festivals, Macaron Parlour is fairly convenient for anyone to get to. We recommend stopping in for a mini-desert or snack any time of day.
