I DID IT. I went to Malibu Farm… and I fell in love. Located at the end of the Malibu Pier, Malibu Farm has one of the best views in all of Los Angeles and serves incredibly fresh, delicious food to top it off. In creating the restaurant’s concept, owner Helene, noted that you should “Eat the real thing, or don’t eat it at all,” and thus created a restaurant whose farm to table concept has gone over incredibly well with the LA community. Produce is sourced from local and small farms, as well as her own farm, and the menu features the best produce available at the given time. Naturally gluten friendly and delicious… Malibu Farm is one of the best meals I’ve had in LA…
My favorite kind of restaurants are the ones where I am so overwhelmed at how many menu options are NOBREAD approved and look amazing. In gluten free world, this kind of difficulty in ordering is a good problem to have, and this is the case at Malibu Farm. Yes my egg white scramble with roast veggies was delicious, but I had major food envy at just about every dish I saw. Which dishes to be exact? The salmon scramble (nocheese for me) with roast potatoes looked amazing and the portion was very generous. That’s another thing to mention… portions at Malibu Farm are hearty and filling! I try not to order salads for my meal at restaurants, but I will 100% be ordering the vegan chop salad of romaine, kale, butternut squash, beets, avocado, and garbanzo beans the next time I go to the restaurant. Salmon, skirt steak, and chicken can be added to any salad, making the already filling portion even more-so. Malibu Farm also offers gluten free bread, and any of the sandwiches and burgers can be made gluten free if you ask for them with this alternative.
Go early for dinner and watch the sunset, or in the morning for breakfast or brunch to watch the surfers and kick start your day. Farm to table, fresh, healthy, an amazing view, great scene… the list goes on! Just go to Malibu Farm now!
