Parker and Quinn is home to one of the most popular brunches in Midtown NYC. The restaurant has a beautiful interior with a bustling vibe, and although some of their most popular dishes, like the stuffed french toast, are full of gluten, they have awesome NOBREAD fare too! The drink menu is creative so I’ve officially added P&Q to my lists of places I will hit up for Happy Hour. After going to the restaurant this weekend for brunch, I look forward to many more visits…
Drinks first! I recommend trying a Bloody Mary or going with the Prosecco. The Bloody Mary Carafe served with pickled veggies, pimento olives, pepperjack cheese, bacon, celery, horseradish, beef boullion, and assorted hot sauces is awesome… and gluten free! If you prefer something bubbly, go for the bottle Prosecco and fixings! Fixings include raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, chantilly whipped cream, elderflower liqueur, peach puree, and blood orange puree. This drink makes for a perfect cocktail, dessert, and light snack all in one! It was so fun being able to practice my mixology! For mains, my friend and I decided to share. We started with the three egg omelette and arugula salad and chose goat cheese, tomatoes, and bacon for the filling. We also ordered the brunch burger, NOBREAD, with cheese and a fried egg. It comes with a big basket of hand cut fries that are SO good– definitely a necessary addition to any meal! Next time, I’m going to get the P.E.I. Mussels and fries served with white wine, garlic, shallots, thyme, pernod, and butter– I know I’ll especially be craving this as we approach seafood season.
I’ll definitely be back to Parker and Quinn! It’s so much fun for brunch with friends plus it’s steps away from Fifth Ave shopping. Sounds like the perfect way to spend my Sunday!
