Petty Cash Taqueria in Los Angeles is a hotspot with a fun vibe and a killer guacamole! Most importantly, Petty Cash offers a lot of delicious and unique gluten-free options. Tacos are made to order and tortillas are made with gluten-free masa and freshly ground corn. Awesome murals and graffiti decorate the walls, creating the perfect setting for your next girls’ night out or group dinner. Whether you enjoy your food while sitting at the restaurant’s picnic tables, or eat your tacos while basking in margarita heaven at the bar, you are guaranteed to have a good time at this Fairfax hotspot…
Almost all of the tacos are NOBREAD-approved and there are plenty of GF appetizers to kick off your meal. Without fail, every meal at Petty Cash starts off with an order of fresh guacamole and corn chips (careful of cross contamination on the corn chips) and the kale cauliflower nachos! The nachos are the most popular dish at the restaurant, and they are gluten-free if you ask for no poblano sauce. The crispy brussels sprouts on top of cauliflower crema are another go-to of mine, and I’m happy to announce that these might be one of my favorite brussels sprout dishes in all of LA. The ceviche and shrimp tostada are excellent gluten-free orders, and for the taco lovers, brace yourself. As I mentioned earlier, almost all of the tacos are gluten-free! My favorite taco is the grilled octopus with avocado! Not to worry, vegetarians have options too! The grilled mushrooms are amazing and the dorados tacos (made with potatoes) are delicious. For the carnivores, the shrimp, chicken, and al pastor taco are for you.
Lastly, I can’t write a review of Petty Cash and not mention the drinks! The mojitos and margaritas are yummy, and if you’re feeling flashy, order the Brixton. It’s on fire. Literally! Petty Cash has become one of my favorite LA taco spots. The vibe is fun, the food is good, and it’s so NOBREAD friendly!
