Finally, a bakery where you can indulge like a normal person! Gluten-free options at many places are limited to the same old flourless chocolate cake, but not at Sinners and Saints! The options are endless at this little bakery, and props to you if you can resist buying an entire box of goodies…
This place may not look like much on the outside – it’s small and easy to miss. But one look at the Sinners & Saints website and I knew I had to track it down. Inside, there’s a large glass display with all kinds of beautiful desserts. Anything gluten-free and NOBREAD-approved (which was over half the display) was labeled with a tag that said “Saints” while non gluten-free items were labeled “Sinners”. That made it super easy to see what you could and couldn’t have. **One thing to note: although the bakery goes out of their way to minimize cross contamination risk, wheat-bearing goods are produced in the facility too.
Expect to see all kinds of traditional desserts here that are usually reserved for gluten-eaters. Just a few of their specialty gluten-free options include: Nutella crème brulee, chocolate bourbon pecan pie, lemon squares, carrot cake, biscotti and cupcakes. They even have desserts that are vegan and paleo friendly. Although gluten-free usually comes with a hefty price tag, this place was pretty affordable and allowed me to get an entire box of goodies for $15 . So when you’re looking for a specialty dessert, you should definitely check out Sinners and Saints!
