Takumi has a lot of options for the NOBREAD crowd! The restaurant is especially famous for their spicy tuna taco, which is gluten free when you order it on a corn tortilla. I also highly recommend the chipotle shrimp taco (also served on a corn tortilla). Takumi makes a killer burrito bowl, too, and it comes with brown rice, pinto & black beans, edamame, scallions, cotija cheese, yuzu guacamole, ginger pico, and lettuce. Both the grilled chicken and tofu burrito bowls are gluten free and veryyy filling! If you are looking for something a little lighter, the sesame crusted ahi tuna salad is a great NOBREAD option.
Takumi has seasonal locations at Madison Square Eats and Smorgasburg, in addition to its permanent residence at Chelsea Market. Unique cuisine that is perfectly portable for walking around the marketplace, plus a gluten free menu, makes Takumi a must try the next time you are in the area. We will absolutely be back!
