Five nights in Cabo and we did our meals right! Today I’m featuring TWO restaurants that you absolutely must go to next time you visit Cabo San Lucas, Flora Farms and Acre Baja.
* These restaurants are about 35 minutes from The Cape, so build in time!
First Up: Flora Farms
Flora Farms is probably the most popular and iconic restaurant in Cabo. As its name suggests, it is a farm, and all vegetables and produce are grown on it! High quality, organic cuisine curated into delicate and delicious meals, this farm-to-table restaurant is one of a kind.
As you walk around the Farm’s restaurant you’ll see pizzas on just about every table! Flora Farms is super well-known for their pizzas, and lucky for us GF people, they offer a gluten-free crust!! We didn’t order the GF pizza, but we were served this unreal gluten-free flatbread with rosemary and it was E V E R Y T H I N G. Notable gluten-free options: the two salads, roasted carrots, market vegetables (or ANY of the veggie options), and chicken. A follower of mine reached out and told me that they have a bacon gluten-free pizza and it is the greatest thing she has ever consumed. The cocktails are amazing, too! Farm to table dining is my absolute favorite, and Flora is a total experience.
Next up: Acre Baja
A friend of mine told me about Acre the week before I went to Cabo and I am so happy she did! Acre is more than a restaurant (well, its a hotel, too); it’s a whole experience! The jungle vibes scream Tulum, and they even had a vibey DJ playing to match. As you walk through the jungle on the way to the open restaurant, you’ll see animals all around, and if you miss seeing any, don’t worry a peacock will grace your table while dining.
For food, the cocktails are fresh and unique, and the menu has so many gluten-free options! The crowd favorites were the sea bass sashimi, brussels sprouts (we loved so much we ordered a second round), the cauliflower entree, and chicken. For dessert, they also had several gluten-free options like sorbet and berries, a chocolate mousse, and the most delicious vegan coconut ice cream with coconut chips I have ever had.
I found out once I was at Acre that they have treehouse style rooms you can vacation in! They look amazing, and the hotel’s pool area looked like a total dream. I plan on staying here next time I come to town!
Note: For both restaurants, book a reservation in advance!
