I found my dream cafe in London. For my Los Angelinos, think Cafe Gratitude meets Flower Child. Farmacy Kitchen is a plant-based, vegan oasis serving every UNREAL meal, latte, and smoothie I could imagine. The vibe is cozy and casual, and one look at the menu totally had me sold. Shoutout to all of my followers who told me to go here!! …
I went for brunch, and because I was so amazed and overwhelmed at all of the delicious breakfast menu items, I ordered a lunch salad to go so I could indulge in Farmacy twice! For breakfast, I ordered the matcha latte with coconut milk and the gluten-free, vegan waffles. The waffles are made out of 100% gluten free oats, sunwarrior protein & chia seeds and served with banana, housemade nutella & coconut ‘yoghurt’. Before I indulged in the waffle I obviously tasted the nutella and ‘yoghurt’ and the two alone were SO fricken good! And when I had a bite of the waffle, my world was changed. It was crispy (sometimes GF waffles struggle to get that perfect crisp), had amazing texture (not too mushy), and it had flavor!! I was torn between ordering these waffles and the gluten-free buckwheat pancakes, which I will have to order on my next trip to London. The ‘Rawnola’ (sprouted buckwheat granola & fresh seasonal fruit served with housemade tiger nut milk) and Probiotic Jars (housemade probiotic spirulina ‘yoghurt’ served with chia seed porridge, seasonal fresh fruit, crunchy almonds & bee pollen) were also screaming my name.
It is amazing to see that in just a year and a half, the gluten-free, vegan game in London has STEPPED UP. Cafes are FULLY equipped with nut milks and offer an abundance of gluten-free and vegan items. Farmacy is a total gem and not to be missed! Oh, they also have the most amazing smoothie combos, serve adaptogens, and KITCHARI. This is definitely the most progressive cafe in London!!
