When you order sushi.... make sure...
💫 No soy sauce- ask for #glutenfree tamari or coconut aminos!
💫 avoid tempura
💫 careful of sauces used as toppings/dressings!! Many have soy sauce in them ( i avoid the words mayo , crispy, and sauce)
💫 imitation crab… Not always GF! Look for rolls that use fresh crab.

🍣 When I went #glutenfree in college and had no idea what I could eat, the Cornell lunch cafe (Hi Trillium) had vegetable sushi rolls and California rolls that I was obsessed with. Sushi was my go-to lunch and go-to dinner for yearssss. That’s why you don’t see me post sushi all that much. I think I ate so much GF sushi in my first few years of being gluten free that I got sick of it. I’m v. Into it right now tho... 11 years later 🤷🏻‍♀️
