Bold statement alert! If I lived in Boston, I would go to one of Mother Juice’s three locations at least three times a day. The menu is THAT good. And not only is the food delicious, but the ambiance is adorable, the owners and staff could NOT have been nicer, and the whole cafe is gluten-free! It’s not vegan because there is honey in some dishes, but aside from the honey the cafe is a vegan paradise, too! …
Have you ever walked into a restaurant and literally wanted everything on the menu and become so overwhelmed you have someone at the restaurant order for you? Yeah that sums up my experience at Mother Juice. I wanted EVERYTHING! Because everything is gluten-free! We decided to dabble in each section of the menu starting with the gluten-free toasts! I was tempted to order the avocado toast, but had to change it up when I saw the “Cinn-full.” Gluten-free toast topped with coconut oil, almond butter, sliced green apple, honey, cinnamon; this toast was my high-fat diet’s dream! From the juice menu I ordered the Moju (kale, cucumber, green pepper, celery, green apple, orange, ginger) to make sure I loaded up on nutrients for my busy day ahead. If you follow me on Instagram you know how much I love my smoothies, and I was most excited for the Almond Love Smoothie (housemade almond milk, coconut milk, cinnamon, strawberries, flax, almond butter, maca, dates, and NO banana). This would absolutely be my go-to daily order at MJ! Lastly, everyone who walked into Mother juice ordered the Health Bomb, which I like to call Chia Pudding on Steroids. Made with coconut milk, chia seeds, flaxseed, and oats, and topped with honey, granola, bananas, fresh berries, coconut flakes, and bee pollen, this bowl is a total dream, and totally filling!
I can go on and on forever about the dishes I ordered, and all of the dishes I still have to try! Let’s just leave at this- if you live in Boston or are visiting the area, go to Mother Juice. You can thank me after.
