Wood-fired crusts, quality toppings, and a lively atmosphere distinguishes Pizzeria Paradiso from the numerous pizza places in DC, and draws people to its locations like flies. Pizzeria Paradiso is not only a go-to spot for a family dinner, but also for dates and dinners with friends…
Pizzeria Paradiso cooks its pizzas in a wood-burning oven, which gives the pizza a thick, doughy crust. However, while the pizzas can be made with gluten-free crust, they are prepared on the same surfaces and cooked in the same oven as the pizzas containing gluten, so if you are sensitive beware! Paradiso’s menu does not obviously state that they have gluten-free pizza crust, but every pizza on the menu can be made with a 9” gluten-free crust. Although the menu boasts an extensive toppings list (47 items to be exact), when I go to the restaurant I keep it simple and order the Margherita Pizza. The pizza is impressive! The crust is fluffy and light, and all of the ingredients taste fresh. It’s no wonder why Paradiso has quickly become a go-to dinner spot for my friends and I.
Pizzeria Paradiso has locations in Georgetown, DuPont Circle, and Old Town. With delicious gluten-free pizza and a warm, welcoming vibe, I highly recommend checking this pizza hotspot out!
