Seasons 52, with location in Chestnut Hill & Burlington, is elegant and dimly-lit, and the perfect place to take someone you want to impress without completely emptying your wallet. From its ambiance to the live music coming from the piano at the bar, there are several elements that make the restaurant stand out, but most importantly, its the restaurants’ emphasis on seasonal, healthy cuisine that makes it a staple establishment in the Boston dining community. Every single meal at Seasons 52 is 475 calories or less, which is impressive when you consider the menu’s decadent dishes include ravioli and filet mignon…
The service at Seasons 52 is reason in itself to pay the restaurant a visit. When I commented to my server that I followed a gluten free diet, he was very quick to provide me with a comprehensive gluten-free menu and he made sure to go over it with me and give me his personal recommendations. The best part about the menu was that it had a great selection! Plenty of appetizers, including the tuna/avocado sushi roll and lobster tails, salads, including the baby spinach with caramelized pears, and entrees and desserts that were gluten free were listed on the menu. My waiter suggested I try the lemon and herb roasted whole branzino and it was a great rec; the fish filet was thin, perfectly cooked, and flaky. The wood-roasted pork tenderloin was also a hit with my group; it was served with a sweet potato mash that I could not get enough of. My favorite dish, and also the most popular dish at the restaurant, was the cedar plank Atlantic salmon. The salmon, served medium rare, was just the right amount underdone on the inside so it melted beautifully in your mouth. The best part about the menu was that it featured gluten free desserts! The raspberry chocolate chip cannoli, without the shell, was gluten free and a must order!
Seasons 52 is elegant and nobread friendly, and its excellent service sets up for a wonderful dining experience. Throw in some live music, and it is the perfect place for a date or for your next birthday dinner with a group of friends. I definitely recommend finding an excuse to check this place out; you won’t leave disappointed!
