I’m sure you allll remember my Classic Banana Bread. I mean, how could you forget?? It was my FIRST ever recipe on the blog, and to this day it is still my favorite. I make it soooo many times a year, every year! Well I was craving it this morning, and my PMS was craving it but with extra chocolate, so it dawned on me that it’s about time I made a chocolate edition! Well friends, here it is. A few tweaks here and there to my Classic recipe and you have the most amazing and lux Double Chocolate Chip Banana Bread!!
What You Will Need:
1.5 C + 2T Cups All-Purpose GLUTEN FREE Flour
¾ Cup Coconut Sugar
3 RIPE Bananas
2 Eggs
¼ tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
½ Cup melted Dairy Free Butter
1/3 C + 2 T cocoa powder
GF/DF choc chips!
What You Will Do:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine gluten-free flour, coconut sugar, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, melt butter and combine with whisked eggs and mashed bananas.
Combine wet and dry bowls and mix until smooth.
Add cocoa! and add your GF/DF chocolate chips, too!
Pour batter into a 9.5 in x 5.5 in bread pan. Place in the oven for ~40 minutes. It may need up to 45. If you stick a toothpick or knife into the bread, it should come out nice and clean!
